On Saturday 14th of July, the entire club turned out for a sponsored kata to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Sponsor forms had been circulated several weeks before, and everyone had been busy collecting as much money as possible to support the charity.
Our current total stands at over £2500, and there are still some people who haven’t given their final totals yet, so we should end up with a bit more!
A very big well done to everyone who participated, and a special well done to the lower grades, who are not used to 3 hours of karate in one go!
